Terms of Service

This is a v1 draft written for product honesty, not legal advice. It is not a substitute for counsel. If these terms conflict with Polar.sh's checkout terms for a purchase, Polar's terms govern that payment.

1. The service

Bazoooka is an AI image and video generation product. You create an account, spend credits on generation jobs (text-to-image, image-to-video, text-to-video, and related tools shown in the app), and view results in your dashboard.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

You register with email and password. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusive, unpaid, or used in violation of these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account or buy credits. The service is not directed to children.

3. Credits (not cash)

Generation is billed in credits, not cash. Credits are a prepaid unit of use inside Bazoooka. They are not money, not a stored-value account, not transferable to another user, and not redeemable for cash.

• Jobs consume credits at the rates shown in the app at submit time.
• If a job fails, we may restore the credits for that job when the product actually refunds them. We do not promise a cash refund because a generation failed.
• Unused subscription-period credits may expire at period end. Pack credits follow the terms shown at purchase. We do not invent extra expiry rules beyond what the product and Polar checkout disclose.

4. Payment via Polar.sh

Paid credit packs and subscriptions are checked out through Polar.sh. Polar is the merchant of record for those payments. Polar collects the payment method, issues the charge, and may collect tax. We do not store full card numbers.

Credits are granted after Polar confirms the purchase (typically via webhook), not merely because you returned to our credits page. Chargebacks, Polar disputes, and Polar's own refund rules apply to the money Polar collected. Cancel a subscription in the product when that control is available, or through Polar if we send you there.

5. Generated media, prompts, and license

You provide prompts and, for some jobs, source images. We send that input to third-party model providers to produce output. We store your prompt, job metadata, and the resulting file so you can reopen it in the product.

Completed files are stored on our object storage and delivered with time-limited signed URLs. A signed URL is not a public permalink. It expires. Copying a URL does not create a permanent hosting obligation.

Subject to these terms, provider terms, and the law, you may use outputs you generate for personal or commercial purposes. You keep whatever rights you already had in your prompts and uploads. You grant us a license to store, process, and display that content as needed to run the service (including retries, signed-URL delivery, and abuse review).

AI output can be wrong, similar to other users' results, or restricted by a model provider. We do not warrant that an output is unique, non-infringing, or fit for a particular use. You are responsible for how you publish it.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use Bazoooka to:

• Violate law, including child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors.
• Create non-consensual intimate imagery or targeted harassment.
• Infringe others' IP, impersonate people to defraud, or run scams.
• Attack, probe, or overload our systems or other users' accounts.
• Resell raw API access we have not offered you, or scrape the product.

We may refuse, delete, or report jobs that appear to break this section.

7. Third-party models

Generation depends on providers we do not control. Availability, quality, and content filters can change. Provider outages are not a breach by us.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the service or from AI output.

Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid through Polar for Bazoooka in the three months before the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits; there they apply only as far as the law allows.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If a change is material we will try to notice you in the product. Continued use after the update is acceptance of the new terms.
